School Culture
Each school day begins with 'chapel' which includes singing, Scripture reading, and prayer. This is the heart of the school community.

The Timothy Centre is organized into a 'house system' which divides the school from top to bottom for the purpose of competition, and is overseen by Prefects. The houses are Colossae, Ephesus, and Philippi, places where Timothy likely went. Students may receive a 'merit' point for memorizing a verse of Scripture (in English and/or in Latin), or for swimming one mile, walking or jogging two, or bicycling four. They may receive a 'demerit' for lateness, incomplete homework, mislaid books, misbehaviour in classes, being disorderly with their possessions, or failing to wear the school uniform correctly.

All students attending the academic program classes are expected to wear school uniform: formal and gym strip.
Uniform consists of school tie, crested school sweater, tartan kilt or tunic to be purchased through the school, navy skirt or dress pants, white tailored shirt, and navy or white socks. Gym strip consists of crested golf shirt and blue shorts, also available through the school. Some used items are available on consignment.
Hoodies and signature T-shirts will be available during the year.
Blue jeans and other non-uniform clothing are NOT allowed!

The school year is divided into seven terms, each identified by its following holiday: Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas, Family Day, Easter, Victoria Day, and Canada Day. The winning house at the end of each term is rewarded with a pizza party. There is a trophy for the overall winner of the year. Recognition is also given to individual students at the end of each term for Academic achievement and for good Citizenship (contributing to the well-being of the school community).

Report Cards are given out at the end of each Trimester - Fall (three terms), Winter (two terms), and Spring (two terms). A final Awards Ceremony at the end of the year gives recognition to the top house, and to the top students in Scripture Memory, Academic Achievement, Citizenship, Community Service, and Physical Activity and Fitness.
